An alternative DIY platform - nexus of events.

Founded sometime around 2009 by Tono, and later co-run by Teapot, focused on bridging the different groups operating in the Prague alternative music scene. The Altershapes umbrella included parties, workshops, curated festival stage lineups, a podcast series, and radio transmissions. These transmissions sought to extend an eclectic experience over the airwaves. Through interviews and guest spots with different, producers, label owners, event promoters and artists stationed in Prague and abroad, these broadcasts gave voice to an otherwise disparate community. The Altershapes radio broadcast began on the now defunct Radio Streetculture, and later evolved into what is now Radio Punctum, with Altershapes it's first core show.
